    DAME DIVIDEND (9) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7f at Goulburn, beaten 9 lengths into fourth. Stepping up a level this time but on her best form she is one of the chief contenders. MISS PEONY (11) returned from a lay-off three weeks ago when she was beaten 2. 5 lengths into sixth over 6f at Newcastle. Likely improver with strong prospects. FREDDIE BASSETT (1) resumes. Wasn't far away at last run before a break, finishing sixth over 1m3f in the LR Geelong Classic five months ago. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. ARCTIC BRIGHT (8) led early and was still in the firing line on the turn before tiring to finish fifth over 6½f at Newcastle last time out. Appeals as a top-four contender.
