KOKO (7) has been in the placings at her last two, most recently when second over 6f at Mornington at her third run back from a break. Rock-hard fit now so she is a leading contender. EXCELS (5) resumed from a lay-off last start with a sound second over 5f at Seymour after being in contention on the corner. This doesn't look as hard so she is likely to play a big role. BEAUTIFUL BEVY (4) is a maiden galloper who hasn't raced since finishing 4 lengths back in seventh over 5f at Sandown-Hillside six months ago. Looks to be in good order after placing in a trial. One of the contenders. ARTIE'S STORM (2) faced the starter for the first time and finished fourth last start at Mornington over 5f, beaten 3 lengths. Will be better for that run and is expected to go well.
