AMERICAN RANGER BB (3) resumes from a lay-off of nine months. Looked close to a win before that break, finishing off with a minor placing over 6½f at Sunland Park (Dirt). Set for a bold return. KOTTLE KOUNTY KID (5) has not raced since his debut on February 28 over 5½f at Sunland Park (Dirt) when he finished sixth, beaten 8 lengths. Will be better for that run and is expected to go well. SHINY SHORES (2) was out of the money two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 5f at The Albuquerque Downs Racetrack & Casino, beaten 8 lengths into fourth. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
